Popularity of Apple products?

It is mostly in the marketing, and in macBooks, about what they downplay in information. Many people are into designer names. Many people don't want to learn about good from bad or to evaluate products. The iPhones are actually pretty good units. I find MacBooks to be a rape of the public. I got an iPod for free, but never liked it as much as a cheaper one that allowed simple additions of mp3's.
