I need to know what I need to clean a trashed apartment.?

I am helping my friend clean her apartment. It is totally trashed. The kitchen is gross and the bathroom has never been cleaned. Her carpet also has a lot of badly set in stains. All she has is a bottle of dish soap really. What all do I need for cleaning a bathroom and kitchen properly? Everything is kinda grimy and just generally uncleaned. 1. scrubbies2. Windex Other then that, I have no idea really.
