Do you have to go to Vet school to be a Veterinary pharmacist?

I've always wanted to be a veterinarian however as a pre-vet student at UNH it's becoming rather unrealistic. I'll have completed my second year in five weeks and while my grades are passing and good, its not all A's as I was told you essentially need for vet school. Also I have just about zero experience with animals. I have some here and there but nothing compared to others. However I have worked in a pharmacy since I was 15 as a tech. I'm not an official technician but I do all the duties of one and have for the past 4 years.
