Light or dark colored fabric on our window sun shades?
I want to get window sun shades for our south and western facing windows to block some sun and lower our cooling costs. We already have some that are black colored, but any grade school student can tell you that dark colors absorb more light and therefore radiate more energy. Would it be noticeably more effective to replace these with light color shades?
