My 1 year old daughter managed to dislodge a strip of (what appears to be) plastic that runs across the inside of the printer, the ends have square holes & are done in metal (one side has an F & an upwards arrow ... the other a D). Nothing appears to be actually broken.
Since the removable of this the computer & the printer can't communicate & thus I can't print. I know where the F side goes in (on the left). From what I can see it is suppose to run about midway between the cartridges & the track that moves the cartridges. My problem is I have no clue where the D side hole goes in (other than on the right/button side).
My warranty is obviously up & it will cost $15 just to get customer support. Can someone take a picture of the interior of the right side of their Lexmark Z55 or describe where the hole goes?
