I have a 2 year old Macbook pro that has been working great up until a week ago when it wouldn't turn on. When I press the power button it plays that catchy lil' note that makes me smile 
but the screen won't come on. My freind says it is the logic board, I looked at it and it looks fine but I am a newb and do not really know what I am looking for. I read online about shimming the vreg chip on ibooks logic boards, could this be a solution for my problem? Thanks in advance
